We are pleased to announce that we are seeking nominations for the third annual Milestone Award of Excellence.
This award will be presented to up to two individuals working inside the Milestone portfolio of companies who exhibit exceptional behavior and accomplishment during a given year. There are no limitations as to who can earn an award other than that they are employed by a Milestone portfolio company. The awards will be presented annually at the Milestone CEO Retreat and recipients will be invited to attend the retreat.
We seek to reward outstanding individual performance and/or behavior which contributes positive value to the business in which they are working. Excellence in leadership, teamwork, sales, customer service and operations are all in scope. CEOs and Directors are not eligible.
All portfolio company CEOs and Directors are able to nominate individuals. A standard nomination is provided below and must be completed for a nomination to be considered. We ask that each portfolio company nominate no more than two candidates in any given year, but portfolio companies are not required to nominate candidates. Nominations for next year’s awards should include performance in calendar year 2015. All nominations must be received by 1/31/2016. CEOs are welcome to solicit nominations from their management teams. The more folks that know about this program the better. We are hopeful this will generate some “buzz” for you inside your company.
Award winners will be selected by the Milestone Award committee, which will consider and weigh all nominations and make its determination within 45 days prior to the next CEO Retreat. Winners will be advised of their recognition so that they may attend the retreat and they will be formally recognized at the event.
Milestone will pay for round trip airfare and accommodations for award recipients and spouse/partner. Award winners will be invited to participate in appropriate portions of the CEO Retreat program including afternoon activities. Winners will also receive a memento for their office.
